Goal of the Day: Momo Sissoko's Sunderland strike

The tireless, industrious midfielder joined the Reds in the summer of 2005 and didn't open his account for the club until a little over two years later.

He did so in some style when the moment arrived, though.

Running onto Andriy Voronin's lay-off, Sissoko cracked a fierce, low drive into Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon's bottom corner from all of 25 yards.

Watch the popular Malian's superb strike - which was Liverpool's 7,000th league goal - again below.
