Former Premier League referee Mark Halsey claims Constantine Hatzidakis SHOULD get a lengthy ban for elbowing Andy Robertson... and insists official should suffer 'the same consequences' as Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic

Former Premier League referee Mark Halsey has suggested that Constantine Hatzidakis should get a lengthy ban for elbowing Liverpool's Andy Robertson.

The incident occurred in the Reds draw 2-2 with Premier League leaders Arsenal at Anfield, after a late equaliser from Roberto Firmino rescued a point for the hosts.

But it was events at half-time that stole the headlines with what appeared to be an unprecedented clash between a match official and a player in the Premier League.

As Robertson walked off the field towards the players tunnel, he appeared to say something to assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis while lightly touching him on the right elbow.
