Former Liverpool youngster Herbie Kane says he REGRETS moving to Anfield as a 15-year-old, claiming 'a lot of things are promised when they try to sign you, but nothing came of it' after just two first-team appearances

Barnsley midfielder Herbie Kane has admitted he regrets joining Liverpool at 15-years-old, saying his time at Anfield 'wasn't the best'.

Kane began his career at hometown club Bristol City but signed for the Reds in 2013 and made his debut for Jurgen Klopp’s first-team against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup last season.

He was nominated for the Golden Boy award in 2018 alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Woodburn but was unable to break into Klopp's plans on a regular basis, making just two senior appearances.
