The kick-off time is still to be confirmed for the Reds’ penultimate top-flight game of the season, at St. James’ Park.
Discussions are ongoing and a further update will be announced on Liverpoolfc.com as soon as possible.
The switch comes after the two legs of Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final against FC Barcelona were scheduled for Wednesday May 1 and Tuesday May 7 respectively.
