Steven Gerrard has been warned against being the man to replace Jurgen Klopp at the helm of Liverpool.

The Liverpool legend has been hotly tipped to eventually replace Klopp, when the German's contract expires at Anfield in 2024.

Gerrard is also contracted up until that point with Rangers and an emotional reunion could be on the cards for Gerrard with his boyhood club.

However replacing Klopp could prove to be a thankless task, and Gerrard's former team-mate Jose Enrique said it 'would not be good' to replace Liverpool's current manager.
