Liverpool fans rejoiced on social media after Joe Gomez denied a certain goal in the clash against Sparta Prague just moments before Darwin Nunez doubled their lead.
Jurgen Klopp's side took an early lead thanks to an Alexis Mac Allister penalty after the Argentinian was brought down inside the box just five minutes into the clash in the Czech capital.
The hosts rallied however, and winger Lukas Haraslin later found himself one on one with Caoimhin Kelleher with a golden opportunity to equalise.
Kelleher managed to get a hand to the Slovakian's subsequent effort but the ball looked to be crossing the line before Gomez intervened to deny an equaliser.
