Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has revealed he is willing to play for a Ligue 1 club for free so that he can reach 100-goal mark.

Cisse notched 96 goals in France's top flight during spells at Auxerre, Marseille and Bastia.

But the 38-year-old, who played at the Merseyside club for three years, has revealed he is desperate to score four goals to hit a century.

'You know how it is with goalscorers,' Cisse told So Foot.

'We love goals, we love hitting milestones; 25, 50, 75… for me, it's the landmark of 100 that haunts me, I've been stuck on 96 since I stopped.
