Crystal Palace's move for Inter Milan striker Eder may pave the way for Daniel Sturridge to replace him in Italy.
Talks are continuing between Inter and Palace over a loan deal with view to an £8million permanent move for 31-year-old Italy international Eder.
And Inter want Liverpool striker Sturridge to fill the gap Eder leaves in their squad.
Sturridge is desperate to play regular football and Inter have offered a £2m loan fee with the prospect of a £25m permanent deal in the summer.
