Canadian rapper Drake pocketed a $2 million payout by placing a $1million winning bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Sunday's AFC Championship.
Drake's support had become a notorious omen for some sports teams following losing bets on Liverpool, Anthony Joshua and Conor McGregor in recent years.
Then last month, Drake bet $1 million on Argentina to beat France in regulation in the World Cup final. Unfortunately for him, Lionel Messi & Co. beat the French in a dramatic shootout.
Drake's luck improved on Sunday when Kansas City's Harrison Butker won the game on a 45-yard field goal with only seconds remaining.
