Dominic Solanke insists Bournemouth 'always believed' despite their poor start to the season and will 'kick on' after they picked up just their second win of the season vs Newcastle

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke has insisted his team 'always believed' in themselves despite their poor start to the season, and believes they will 'kick on' from tonights win.

The Cherries pulled off an excellent 2-0 win against Newcastle at the Vitality Stadum courtesy of a brace from Solanke himself.

The England international opened the scoring well when he pounced on a lose ball in the box to finish past Nick Pope with aplomb.

While his second goal was less impressive, a scrappy header at the back post, Cherries fans will be delighted with their team picking up only their second win of the season.
