Real Madrid are set to sign Bournemouth centre back Dean Huijsen for £50million after agreeing terms on Friday.
With Bournemouth's next Premier League game on Tuesday against FA Cup finalists Manchester City, Huijsen was given permission to travel to London on Friday to undergo the first part of his medical.
The Spain international's representatives had flown to Madrid on Thursday to discuss personal terms over what it is understood will be a five year contract.
As Mail Sport reported, Madrid emerged as favourites to sign the 20-year old at the beginning of this week as they have been the 20-year-old's preferred choice.
