Dean Henderson will have a medical at Nottingham Forest at the end of this week ahead of a season-long loan move from Manchester United.
The England international goalkeeper has agreed terms to move to the City Ground and the deal is expected to be announced in the coming days, once the 25-year-old has returned from honeymoon.
Forest are seeking a new No1 with Brice Samba, last season’s first choice, open to leaving the club, and Henderson is desperate for first-team football to try to force his way back into the England squad.
