Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers round-up: Algeria secure qualification with victory over Niger, Liverpool's Naby Keita scores for Guinea and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey doesn't feature for Ghana due to 'small injury issue'

Baghdad Bounedjah scored the only goal as Algeria beat Niger 1-0 to secure their place at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

Algeria joined Morocco and hosts Ivory Coast in having already qualified for the tournament, which will take place between January and February next year.

Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez was amongst the players to start the game for Algeria.

Liverpool's Naby Keita was on the scoresheet as Guinea beat Ethiopia 3-2. Keita opened the scoring after just four minutes, with Kenean Markneh equalising for Ethiopia. Ilaix Moriba and Morgan Guilavogui netted for Guinea before Kitika Jima Ojulu scored for Ethiopia in stoppage time.
