Fit-again striker Tom Cannon could make his long-awaited Leicester City debut at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The 20-year-old joined Leicester from Everton in September, and later revealed they did the deal knowing he had a stress fracture in his back.
Enzo Maresca, who has previously said Leicester see Cannon as a "long-term investment", now has the forward available after a week of training.
"He could be with us tomorrow, but not for the 90 minutes," Maresca said.
"Finally, he has been back for more or less a week, but after two and a half months you need time and you need to go day by day.
