Roma lodge £29m bid for Leicester striker Riyad Mahrez as Italians search for Mohamed Salah replacement

Roma have made a £29million offer for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

The Italians see the Algerian as a replacement for Mohamed Salah but Leicester want around £50million for a player who has been pivotal to their recent success.

Arsenal and Liverpool have also checked on Mahrez but were deterred by the valuation.
