Barcelona stalwart Xavi Hernandez has said that Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez is good enough to play alongside the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi.
'Mahrez is good enough to play for Barcelona, but I am pleased he decided to stay with Leicester,' Xavi said in an interview with Shortlist.
The 25-year old Algeria international was named PFA player of the year after leading Leicester to the Premier League title last season, and was linked over the summer with a move to the Nou Camp.
Xavi went on to say he thought it would have been unfortunate to see Mahrez leave the Foxes ahead of a maiden Champions League campaign.
