A group of passionate Leicester fans have been banned from using the club's cherished cardboard 'clappers' at matches.
The clappers, which look similar to fans, make a distinct noise when hit against the palm of the hand and are handed out to the crowd before every game.
However, as reported by the Leicester Mercury, a section of 500 supporters were informed that they would not be allowed to use them prior to Tuesday's Champions League clash with Club Brugge.

The club claimed that 'a small number of individuals' had misused the objects.
