Pick of the stats: Preston North End v Leicester City

Leicester City visit Preston North End on Saturday (15:00 BST) as they recover from their Carabao Cup loss to Huddersfield Town in the midweek.

The Foxes faced a penalty shoot-out against the Terriers and saw themselves knocked out of the competition, while they only managed to get a win over struggling Sheffield Wednesday in the latter stages of their opening Championship match.

Though Preston North End didn't dazzle in their cup game either, peeking past League Two's Barrow through an own goal.

  • Preston North End have failed to win any of their last five league games against Leicester City (D1 L4), since a 2-1 win in September 2009 courtesy of goals from Richard Chaplow and Neil Mellor.
