Liverpool secured an impressive 4-1 win over Premier League champions Leicester at a new-look Anfield on Saturday evening.
Roberto Firmino - with two - Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana scored for the hosts, with the Foxes only getting on the scoresheet after Lucas Leiva presented Jamie Vardy with an open goal.
The Reds started on the front foot, Wes Morgan clearing the ball when Daniel Sturridge was presented with a good goal scoring chance, but the Foxes couldn’t hold out for long.
It was after just 12 minutes that Firmino opened the scoring, sending a lovely composed finish past Kasper Schmeichel after a wonderful pass from James Milner found the Brazilian in acres of space on the edge of the area.
