Leicester have lodged a £15.5million bid for Genk's teen star Wilfred Ndidi, according to reports in Belgium.
The 19-year-old, who can play in central midfield or defence, has caught the eye with his mature displays for Genk over the past two seasons.
And now newspaper HLN have reported that Leicester have opened the bidding to sign him when the window opens in January.
They are said to have lodged a cash bid of £15.5m which could rise to £18m in performance related add-ons.
However Genk are holding out for more money for the Nigeria-born starlet, and hope to scoop around £21.
