Leicester to hand Craig Shakespeare manager's role until the end of the season after winning his first two matches in charge of the Foxes

Craig Shakespeare is set to be appointed Leicester City manager until the end of the season.

Claudio Ranieri's former assistant took on the top job at the King Power Stadium on an interim basis following the sacking of the Italian last month and has presided over back-to-back victories.

The Foxes saw off Liverpool 3-1 in his first game in charge before beating Hull by the same scoreline on Saturday, and Leicester's owners have already seen enough to install him as permanent boss for the remaining 11 games of the campaign.
