Leicester striker Islam Slimani not fit for Sevilla clash as he struggles to get over groin problem

Islam Slimani has been ruled out of Leicester's Champions League game in Seville on Wednesday after failing to sufficiently recover from a groin injury.

The club's £30million record signing has been struggling to shake off the niggling problem and will not be included in Claudio Ranieri's squad for the last-16 tie.

Slimani has travelled with the group and was training lightly with his team-mates on the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan pitch but that is because Ranieri will conduct another session on Thursday morning in Spain.
