Danny Drinkwater has revealed he and the rest of the Leicester City squad want Craig Shakespeare to become the club's manager in the long-term.
Shakespeare has been put in charge of the Foxes until the end of the season following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri in February.
Since stepping into the Italian's shoes, the former assistant manager has claimed two wins from as many games.
And now Drinkwater has admitted that he and his team-mates would love to see Shakespeare get the job on a permanent basis.
"I think he has done excellently since I have been working with him," said Drinkwater.
