Claudio Ranieri left London with a satisfied smile on his face and it was nothing to do with a remarkable personal record against Spurs which he extended 11 Premier League games without defeat.
Ranieri was purring because he detected Leicester had their famous spirit back in full force as they collected a first away point of the season.
The champions may be marooned in mid-table, trailing the pace-setters by 11 points, but something has clicked again inside the camp.
