Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has reflected on a 'tough' season, describing Claudio Ranieri's sacking as a 'horrible situation'.
The Italian guided the Foxes to the Premier League title during an incredible, fairytale campaign but was then dismissed in February with Leicester just one point above the drop zone.
Speaking to The Premier League Show on BBC, Schmeichel admitted it was an upsetting time and said: 'You don't want to see anyone lose their job.

'I was upset and, not quite embarrassed but it was, we were champions of England and we weren't getting to the level we knew we could be because we'd set the standard.
