Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani attended Arsenal's Carabao Cup semi-final with Chelsea as Leicester scouts, Claude Puel has joked.
The Algerian pair were at the Emirates on Wednesday night with Slimani posting a picture on Instagram — both have been linked with moves away to London clubs.
Arsene Wenger has previously declared an admiration for Mahrez and Chelsea this month made an enquiry about Slimani, but Puel provided an alternative reason for their attendance.
'I asked Riyad to watch the game to make the report,' said the Leicester boss.
