Riyad Mahrez has stunned Leicester City by insisting he be allowed to leave the club this summer.
The former PFA Player of the Year has issued a statement declaring he is ‘fiercely ambitious’ and feels ‘now is the time for me to move on’.
The 26-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League and abroad and has urged Leicester to accept bids that meet their valuation.

However the club are in a strong position due to there being no release clause in the winger’s £100,000 per week contract, which was only signed last summer and still has three years to run.
