Leicester City news: Claudio Ranieri reveals ‘special sessions’ to help Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani develop stronger partnership

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed he has been putting on specialised sessions to fine-tune his attacking trio of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani.

Ranieri is instructing the three Foxes stars to play together regularly in training to help develop a better understanding between them.

Defending Premier League champions Leicester have not started the season in as fine form as they ended the last, although their star trio have shown signs of a promising partnership by scoring three goals each.

Ranieri, who was celebrated for his eccentric press conference gems last term, recently has compared Vardy to a radio because of the incessant noise he makes, and the Italian said he wants Englishman Vardy and Algerian countrymen Mahrez and Slimani on the same frequency.
