Leicester City assistant manager Craig Shakespeare has agreed to take up a part-time role on the England coaching staff.
The 53-year-old will be first-team coach under new manager Sam Allardyce during international windows.
Shakespeare, who recently signed a new contract with Leicester, will still perform the same duties for the Premier League champions.
He said:“It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked to work with the England team and I’m grateful to both the FA and Leicester City for finding a solution that works for everybody.
“I’m entirely committed to my role at Leicester and to helping the club build on its recent success.
