Leicester City have agreed a club record £29.7million fee with Sporting Lisbon for Islam Slimani.
Claudio Ranieri had a £25m bid rejected for the forward on Tuesday but went back to the Portuguese side with an improved offer, which has been accepted.
The Algerian, who scored 27 times last season, will undergo a medical before the deal is finalised.

Slimani would bring added weight to a strikeforce already including England international Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki and Leonardo Ulloa.
