Leicester caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare says he would not be fazed if he was asked to remain in charge of first team affairs, after an impressive 3-1 win over Liverpool at the King Power Stadium.
Shakespeare did his chances of securing the job on a permanent basis no harm by overseeing Leicester's first Premier League victory of 2017, as a Jamie Vardy brace and stunning strike from Danny Drinkwater opened up a commanding lead.
The win took the Foxes out of the relegation zone, and while Shakespeare refused to talk up his chances of being in charge for Saturday's vital game against fellow strugglers Hull, he believes he is capable of remaining in the hotseat.
