Leicester captain Wes Morgan out of Stoke clash as he faces race to be fit for Champions League quarter final

Wes Morgan has been ruled out of the visit by Stoke on Saturday as the Leicester captain struggles to overcome a back injury that could also keep him out of the match against Sunderland next Tuesday.

Craig Shakespeare confirmed the central defender will miss his second consecutive Premier League game after dropping out of the trip to West Ham United before the international break.

The nerve injury, suffered against Sevilla, brought an end to Morgan's 88 consecutive Premier League appearances dating back to December 2014.
