Craig Shakespeare has insisted he never fell out with Claudio Ranieri during their time working together and that his conscience is clear over the Italian's sacking.
The Leicester manager was forced to address questions about his relationship with his predecessor after Ranieri said that 'somebody behind' him had potentially been guilty of betrayal.
Ranieri, speaking on Monday Night Football, refused to name whoever he felt may have undermined his management, prompting speculation he could have been referring to his former No 2.

But on the eve of leading Leicester against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final Shakespeare categorically denied that suggestion.
