Claudio Ranieri will reinstate Riyad Mahrez to the Leicester City team against West Ham on Saturday with a warning that he must kick on from last season.

Mahrez's indifferent form saw him dropped against Everton on Boxing Day as Ranieri tried to invigorate the Premier League champions' dismal domestic season.

Leicester lost that game 2-0 and face West Ham at home on Saturday afternoon knowing that an upturn in results must come soon.
