JOE BERNSTEIN: Javi Gracia should be experienced enough to know fans will scrutinise bizarre decisions as calls grow from fans for him to axe Illan Meslier and start Wilfried Gnonto

Even placid Javi Gracia has become as irritable as Leeds United’s grumpy fanbase with the team hurtling closer towards the relegation trapdoor.

Gracia is fed up of being quizzed about his team selections, particularly regarding goalkeeper Illan Meslier and Wilfried Gnonto, but should be experienced enough to know that when bizarre decisions are followed by defeats, scrutiny will follow.

‘I decide,’ muttered the Leeds manager when asked if Meslier would be dropped and Gnonto recalled for Tuesday's huge game against fellow strugglers Leicester at Elland Road.

However, he was slightly more forthcoming about Patrick Bamford and Luis Sinisterra, hinting they would feature from kick-off having started on the bench at Craven Cottage.
