Jamie Vardy’s starring role for England came as the Oscar-winning producers behind his movie watched him live for the first time.
Gareth Ellis Unwin and Simon Egan, who claimed a best film Academy Award for the King’s Speech, attended the game at Wembley to witness Vardy at close quarters.
The timing was apt, with Vardy producing a fine display and breaking his scoring drought that had stretched to 14 games for club and country by burying a header from Jordan Henderson’s cross.

The Leicester striker posed for pictures with the pair, who founded Bedlam Productions, after the encounter.
