He had an issue with the incorrect offside call which robbed his energetic side of victory - but David Wagner has no problem with Huddersfield Town's decision to downsize their academy.

As revealed by Sportsmail, the Premier League new boys made the surprising step of scrapping all teams up to their Under 18s.

The move, unprecedented for a top-flight club, was made by chairman and owner Dean Hoyle. He was worried at spiralling costs and the lack of youngsters coming through - and had even contemplated removing the academy altogether.
