Eight Leicester fans get four months in Spanish prison after pleading guilty to clashing with Madrid police a full day before Champions League tie

Eight Leicester fans have been sentenced to four months in prison by a judge in Madrid after clashing with police ahead of their team's Champions League tie in the Spanish capital.

After pleading guilty to charges, six of the fans were sentenced to an additional four months for assaulting police officers, according to reports from EFE.

The arrests occurred on Tuesday night, nearly a full 24 hours ahead of the Foxes quarter-final match with Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday.
