Danny Drinkwater makes impressive start to life at Chelsea after frustrating few months on injury table... now he can reignite N'Golo Kante partnership

Fifty-five days after Danny Drinkwater's arrival at Chelsea, Antonio Conte finally got to see what his £35million midfielder can do in a match.

What he witnessed was plenty of forward passing and good positioning from N'Golo Kante's former Leicester City partner.

Drinkwater touched the ball 73 times in his hour on the pitch. Only Antonio Rudiger (75) and Gary Cahill (86) touched it more for Chelsea, and those two played for the full 90 minutes.
