Leicester City will be begging Daniel Amartey to stay once he has fulfilled his potential in three seasons’ time, according to the manager he faces in Tuesday night’s Champions League clash.
Stale Solbakken knows Amartey having guided his career for 18 months at Copenhagen and predicts his ability will have major clubs clamouring for his signature eventually.
Leicester signed Amartey for £5million in January and while he can play in central defence or right-back Claudio Ranieri has utilised him alongside Danny Drinkwater in midfield this season, as a replacement for N’Golo Kante.

The 21-year-old Ghana international comes up against his former club, where he scored six goals in 49 games, at the King Power Stadium and Solbakken believes he will make a significant contribution.
