Coventry condemn banners mocking the death of Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a helicopter crash and pledge to ban supporters involved ahead of M69 derby

Coventry City have condemned banners referencing the helicopter crash which killed Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha ahead of their derby match.

Photos were posted on social media highlighting a series of offensive banners which had been put up on the M69, which Leicester fans would travel down for the game.

Some of the banners referenced the Leicester helicopter crash back in October 2018.

Thai billionaire Srivaddhanaprabha was one of five people killed in the horrifying crash, which also claimed the lives of employees Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, as well as co-pilots Eric Swaffer and his girlfriend Izabela Roza Lechowicz.
