Claudio Ranieri sends personalised Easter eggs to his Sampdoria players and gifts for each of their children as former Leicester manager makes generous gesture to his squad during coronavirus lockdown

Sampdoria manager Claudio Ranieri has this weekend sent personalised Easter eggs to his players, as well as presents for each of their children.

The 68 year old personally contacted a bakery in Genoa and requested a chocolate egg to be delivered to each member of his squad, according to Italian outlet Il Secolo XIX.

The former Leicester boss also took the decision to send extra gifts to their children, boosting morale during the coronavirus lockdown.

The report claims Ranieri is the only Serie A coach to have made this generous gesture to their playing staff.
