Claudio Ranieri refuses to criticise Mark Clattenburg following Leicester's two penalty appeals being turned down against Arsenal

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri refused to criticise referee Mark Clattenburg after the Premier League champions had two penalty appeals turned down in the goalless draw with Arsenal.

Foxes midfielder Danny Drinkwater went down following a tackle by Gunners defender Laurent Koscielny in the first half before substitute Ahmed Musa fell to ground inside the 18-yard box while being challenged by Hector Bellerin in the final minutes.

Ranieri, who saw his side play at home for the first time since last season's memorable trophy presentation, told BT Sport: 'A penalty is when the referee whistles. I don't want to speak about decisions.
