Seeing E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial land in Piccadilly Circus is more likely to happen than Leicester repeating their incredible Premier League triumph, Claudio Ranieri has claimed.
The Italian provoked laughter at the King Power Stadium as he previewed the opening game of his side’s title defence, stressing that finishing first again would be impossible.
Ranieri said the same bookmakers who placed Leicester as 5,000-1 outsiders last season should give punters odds of 6,000-1 this time – because all the customary challengers would be back.
