Chelsea 'most definitely' should have had a penalty after Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans appeared to kick Timo Werner, Graeme Souness insists... as he slams referee Mike Dean for not giving 'such a simple decision'

Graeme Souness was left baffled at Mike Dean's failure to award a first-half penalty to Timo Werner following Youri Tielemans' challenge in Chelsea's crucial Premier League match against Leicester.

The Belgian midfielder intercepted Cesar Azpilicueta's low cross but was soon under pressure from Germany striker Werner, who stepped across him.

Tielemans then attempted to clear but only managed to make contact with Werner, who went down looking for a penalty, but his and the Blues' appeals were waived away by Dean.
