Caglar Soyuncu will be assessed by Leicester on Thursday after missing Turkey’s Nations League clash with Serbia due to a hamstring problem.

Turkey boss Senol Gunes revealed the injury had prevented Soyuncu playing in the 2-2 draw, making him a doubt for the Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday.

Soyuncu, 24, could be replaced by Wesley Fofana, who has yet to make his debut following his £31.5million move from St Etienne before the top-flight’s international transfer window closed.
