Jamie Vardy will complete a course of injections next week which Leicester hope will allow him to return to action before the end of the season.
The forward has played only twice in 2022 and is currently sidelined with knee trouble, which has left him unable to strike the ball without feeling discomfort.
Leicester face Crystal Palace on Sunday and Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed: ‘Jamie won’t be back. He’s got a final injection on Tuesday and we will see what the reaction is to that.
