Brendan Rodgers admits the freezing weather will influence the playing time he gives key men like Jamie Vardy in Leicester’s FA Cup tie against Brighton on Wednesday.
The temperature is expected to drop as low as -6 degrees Celsius for the fifth-round meeting at King Power Stadium and this is likely to influence Rodgers’ team selection.
Vardy made his comeback as a second-half substitute at Wolves last weekend after a three-week absence due to hernia surgery and Rodgers is unwilling to take unnecessary risks with Leicester’s talisman.

‘We were talking about it on Monday morning in our staff meeting, just in terms of the game-time we were looking towards for players,’ said Rodgers.
