For the first time in eight months, the Raiders stepped onto the gridiron to compete against another team in live action when they took on the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale on Friday. The Silver and Black had been chomping at the bit for a chance to face players other than their own, and that was evident in Arizona as the team came away with a 31-10 victory.
The defense forced a number of turnovers, several rookies shined in their first NFL action, and third-year running back George Atkinson flashed his speed and stole the show late in the game with a two-touchdown performance.
