The Oakland Raiders have officially locked up their franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future. As he enters his fourth season with the Silver and Black, Derek Carr will remain a Raider for years to come. No. 4 is coming off arguably his best season in the NFL, as he threw for 28 touchdowns, 3,937 yards, and had a rating of 96.7, all contributing to an MVP-candidate season. Following the news of Carr’s new deal, members of the team and players from across the sports universe congratulated the former Fresno State Bulldog via Twitter.
